Finished goods are typically bulk product that has been packed into a finished good but can also be received as is.
The key fields are Product Name, Commodity, Variety, and GTIN. The rest of the fields are optional, and Product ID will be auto-generated by the system. The GTIN must be unique to that particular product. It must be 14 digits but if 13 are entered, the last one will be generated for you as it is the tech check digit.
1. Product Name - this is the name of the finished goods product that you are making
2. Product ID - this is a internal reference for the product and can be left blank (optional)
3. Recipe - If you want to make a recipes then select the recipe (optional)
4. Commodity - Select the commodity, which is mandatory
5. Variety - You can select a "No Variety" if you do not want to track or select from one of the options you have set up
6. The product reference - This is a reference from your ERP is using (optional)
7. Style - the style of the product and is on most of the PTI case labels (optional)
8. Size - The size of the product and is on most of the PTI case labels (optional)
9. Grade - The grade of the product and is on most of the PTI case labels (optional)
10 Case per pallet - This used only for the production option when you look at the number of standard pallets on a printer
11. Method - This is the Method of the product (optional)
12. Storage - The storage of the product (optional)
13. Color - This is the Color of the product (optional)
14. Case weight - This is the weight of the case (optional)
15. weight of the UOM - this is unit of measure of the weight of the case weight (optional)
16. Brand - The is the brand that is being used for the label (optional)
17. GTIN - you have to add a unique GTIN to ever label. This is a 14 digit (Mandatory)
18. The case label - is the default option when this label is selected
19. The case label override - This is for setting up layout for US foods on the label and will rework the label layout if required
20. PLU - this is on most of the PTI case labels but is optional
21. UPC - this is on most of the PTI case labels but is optional
22. if you want to deactivate the label you can press the active button and press update / save and this will not show up in the options
Finished Good Products that have not been used are able to be deleted, but Finish Good Products that have been used already cannot be deleted. An error notification will be displayed if you try to delete a Finished Good Product that has been used.

This can be done by clicking the check box next to the finished goods product(s) and clicking the Inactivate or Reactivate buttons. If reactivating a product, be sure that the Active filter is set to Inactive or All Items in order to be able to see the items that are currently inactive.
Inactivating two finished good products You can Save and Copy finished good products to save time in instances where you have a similar product but different sizes, etc. In these instances be sure to change the GTIN
