What is a Template in Orders? PPS v4.0.27
You can map fields from your customer's EDI or an export from your accounting software to fields used in PPS. The template is the form that equates the two sets of data. To create an order template, ask your customer to provide an order in .xlsx format. Then match the fields. Once you've matched what you need, save the template. Whenever that customer sends you a file, you may use the template to import the order. Fewer errors due to fewer manually entered fields.
