MUST HAVE - How do I set up commodities and varieties? PPS v4.0.51

This option is only available to an Administrator or a Business User
The commodity and variety option is were you define what commodities and varieties of those commodities that you will be handling
1. go to Settings > Manage Data > Commodities and Varieties.

2. To add a new commodity, click the New Commodity button.

3. you will then see the following pop up (notice that you can make a commodity active i.e. currently in use or inactive i.e. will not show up in the system)

4. Once you have saved your new commodity you can make a variety
5. You can add as many varieties as you want for each new commodity type
6. to add a variety select the commodity on the left by clicking on it and it will change color (see below)
7. On the right you will see all the varieties associated with that commodity

8. press the "new Variety button to make a new variety

9. Enter the new variety name and press save  (notice that you can make a commodity active i.e. currently in use or inactive i.e. will not show up in the system)
10. the system does support a "No Variety" option, but you have to make that in the Bulk Products option

If you wish to set up No Variety, this must be done under Bulk Products.
